Hi Folks, if you like a good tune, then this is the place to be.
Johnguitars has two albums currently available, the instrumental "The Year Album."and, the sing a long, "Rolling Round the Sun,"
This is a collection of 12 relaxing instrumentals played on a Tokai 335 semi-acoustic guitar. The tracks give the flavour of each month of the year, January, February etc from the darkness of winter to the brightness of summer, the emphasis being on melodic interest and accessability for the student player. Highly influenced by jazz player Ivor Mairants, Johnguitars creates the relaxing sounds on his Year Album to make the ideal accompaniment to your weekend dinner party, country walk, meditation or quiet time.

Cds are available from CDbaby at $9.99 and dowloads at $0.99 each or $7.99 for all 12 tracks.

"Rolling Round the Sun," contains 12 catchy, kind of folksie, kind of country songs about love found, love to come and love unreachable. If you long for that perfect guy then perhaps he's the one in, "Never been a gambling man," or if you thought you had found him and he turned out to be a swine then, "Hell has no fury," will hit the spot.
"Wind of change," is a reflection on the tough times we are going through, while the tear jerker, "Daddy, don't break my home," should make all absent father's cringe although, "Take me back again," may offer them a little hope.
For those for whom marriage has actually worked, I offer, "Two minds, one heart," and to my four grandsons I give some good advice in, "I'll walk a way with you."
Visit Amazon.com to hear samples and download individual tracks for $0.99 or the entire "Rolling round the Sun," album for $8.99
